Battery: Comes with 3 x 12volt (12ah) batteries.
We also have model 957 which is identical to 959, but it has the headlight of model 942.
Suggested Ages: Many adults buy this model. If you want a smaller size, buy the model 946 or 942, which are smaller. Because this unit goes up to 22mph, take this into account when deciding if it is appropriate for your child.
Start: Keyed Electric start. Just turn the key and rotate the right throttle to go. It doesn't get any easier than this.
Speed: up to 22mph. Faster than a bicycle.
Parts: We have a full stock of parts for this model. The quality is as good as it can be, we have been selling the same model for 5 years.
Headlight: Single headlight
Front and Rear marker lights: Front are located next to headlight. Rear are located on the sides in the back.
Rear brake light
Rubber tires: Bigger 12" x 2.5" (tires are actually 12.5" outside diameter).
Charger port + Charger: Every Scooter comes with a 36 volt charger. It takes 3-6 hours to fully recharge the battery. When the light on the charger changes from red to green, it is done charging. One charge will last you for 2-3 hours of stop and go use. If you ride on it continuously at full speed, the charge will last about 45 minutes, but most people use it for stop and go use like going to the grocery store or to a friends house. The electric scooters are supposed to go for around 300 charges before you will have to replace the batteries. Of course leaving the lights on in-between uses will shorten this time considerably just like it does your car battery.
Rear Luggage box: Keyed luggage box to put your valuables in, like toy trucks and dolls.
Padded Seat: Thick padded seat with coil springs under it for a very comfortable ride.
Brakes: front and rear brakes. Brakes are controlled by the left and right handle bar levers.
Controls on the handle bars: turning signal switch, headlight switch, horn, LED speed indicator and LED battery charge indicator.

Weight of unit: 75 pounds
Dimensions: (length x handle bar height). Same size as the model 959. The model 957 and 959 vary only in their headlight design and everything else is the same.
